Extra tools
This is the hidden drawer. A place with some extra functions which didn’t make it to get a spot on the main interface.
At the moment you can:
- apply an Overshoot expression to your selected properties
- apply a Bounce expression to your selected properties
- turn the Spatial Interpolation to Linear
- turn your selected keyframes time interpolation to Continuous
After Effects now has these two functions built in. I didn’t want to remove them though, just in case they fit your workflow better.
Duplicate or Mirror multiple keyframes
After Effects now has these two functions built in. I didn’t want to remove them though, just in case they fit your workflow better.
Select a set of keyframes from multiple layers and properties. Move your Current Time Indicator into position and choose weather to duplicate or mirror them. If mirrored, the easing will be mirrored too.
To do so right-click on the Copy button and select ‘Duplicate keyframes‘ or ‘Mirror keyframes‘ from the context menu.
