Robert Penner easing curves

A set of mathematical functions that define how an animation progresses over time, based on the principles of acceleration and deceleration. Penner popularized these curves in the Flash animation community and later they became widely adopted across web design and animation tools. The goal of these functions is to simulate more natural, physics-inspired movement.

Elastic Out

A set of elastic curves that mimic an exponentially decaying sine wave. These presets combine 2, 3, or 4 waves with 3 different amplitudes and 2 frequencies, resulting in 18 unique variations.

Anticipation and Overshoot

A handpicked library of custom easing curves tailored for anticipation and overshoot.

Bounces and odd curves

A handy set of presets to help you create bouncing effects and a few other easing curves you may find interesting.
