Modifier Keys

When you apply an easing curve, Kease can target the incoming, middle, and/or outgoing sections of your keyframe selection. You can do this by holding one or more Modifier Keys while applying the curve.

Modifier Keys work when pasting an easing curve using the Paste Easing button, or when applying a Simple Preset or Simple Easing Curve using the Graph Editor. In other words, they work anywhere a Simple Curve is applied.

An Extended Easing curve, on the other hand, is always applied to the middle section only.

Windows

  • Shift:  targets the incoming section.
  • Ctrl : targets the middle section.
  • Alt: targets the outgoing section.

macOS

  • Cmd: targets the outgoing section.
  • Shift:  targets the incoming section.
  • Opt : targets the middle section.

Remember you can right-click on any preset or button to reveal all available shortcut combinations.
