Culture Care Connect

Created for NACCHO in collaboration with Nani Creative, this animation explores the Culture Care Connect program and the healing pathways that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional wellbeing.
Inspired by the cultural art of boab nut carving, the visual style balances emotive storytelling with informative content, placing culture, care and connection at the heart of the narrative. The film aims to raise awareness of culturally grounded approaches to suicide prevention and highlight the power of community-led care.

Moho has been used for character animation,
After Effects for compositing and overall visual treatment.

As the camera zooms into the boab nut, the visual style shifts to evoke the traditional Aboriginal art of boab nut carving, connecting the animation’s visual language to this cultural practice.
